As a certified and experienced optometrist, Dr. Dina Lopez, diagnoses and treats a wide array of sight disorders. She examines the eye for refractive conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia; and prescribes glasses, contact lenses, and special low vision devises such as telescopes and microscopes.

Dr. Dina Lopez also diagnoses and treats medical eye conditions such as conjunctivitis and allergies.  She performs certain minor surgical procedures such as foreign body removals and insertion of punctual plugs for the treatment of dry eyes. As part of the optometric eye examination, Dr. Lopez diagnoses eye diseases such as cataracts and glaucoma.  In the process, she evaluates systemic medical conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. Lopez co-manages refractive laser, cataract, and other eye surgeries with top eye surgeons.  As an integral member of the primary health care team, she refers patients to other health care professionals according to their specific eye care needs.
